ITOS presents its new Handheld IC-51T, a professional terminal developed to meet the new needs of companies, which ensures greater health control and epidemic prevention in mobile environments.
The Android handheld computer incorporates as a novelty a body temperature sensor that performs measurements comfortably and reliably. Its efficient performance increases the safety of workers and the general public by detecting possible contagions.
Using infrared, and with a distance of up to 6 cm from the person’s forehead, the IC-51T takes readings and displays them on the screen in less than 1 second. In humans, it offers a measurement range of 32 to 42.9 ºC and a high accuracy of ± 0.2 ºC. The sensor allows other uses, such as measuring the temperature of objects up to 100 ºC.
A ruggedized device, with a 5-inch anti-scratch screen and Gorilla Glass 3.0 technology, which also incorporates a 1D/2D barcode reader and allows the identification of ID cards and passports, as an option. The IC-51T integrates Octa-core processor; 2GB RAM, 16GB Flash ROM memory; a 4,000 mAh long-life battery; 4G, NFC and Bluetooth technologies, as well as two SIM and two SAM modules for enhanced communications performance. The terminal has IP65 protection and drop resistance certificates.
