The new IC-58 integrates Android 11 with certified GMS (Google Mobile Services), an 8-core processor, plus 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of Flash memory as standard, and up to 6 GB and 128 GB of optional memory. This guarantees a better user experience with a smoother and more secure operation of the terminal.
On the communications side, the device integrates Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technologies for faster data speeds and network range, as well as NFC for data exchange between devices in proximity.
The new Handheld is professionally finished and stylish, with a sleek design that makes it easy to grip. Rugged and durable, it is IP67-rated and resistant to drops and vibration, making it suitable for the harshest environments. To this end, the IC-58 is fitted with a 5.72″ HD touchscreen with anti-scratch Corning Gorilla Glass® protection technology. Overall, an industry-ready terminal suitable for applications in mobile environments in the world of Logistics and Transport, as well as for the entire supply chain.
As a solution for digital data capture, the company incorporates a high-performance 1D/2D barcode scanner as well as RFID technology with different reader/writer versions for both HF and UHF. And to ensure efficient operation during intense working days, the IC-58 includes a high-capacity 4,600 mAh rechargeable battery, which is easily removable by the user.
To facilitate the performance of tasks, ITOS offers companies a set of accessories designed exclusively for the terminal. Among them, the reader-gun, which provides greater convenience in day-to-day operations, speeding up warehouse work and improving worker productivity. And accessories aimed at increasing the security of the terminal against falls and improper use, such as the hand strap and the TPU protection case. The IC-58 also features a modular charging cradle that allows simultaneous charging of up to 3 devices and 3 additional batteries.
