\"\"<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>EuroCIS<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0the\u00a0leading trade fair for retail technology,<\/em><\/strong> which will be held from May 31 to June 2, 2022, in Halls 9 and 10 at the D\u00fcsseldorf Exhibition Center, is the international communication forum for innovation and trends in retail technology. ITOS will be present for the first time at EuroCIS, coinciding with a growth period for the company.<\/p>\n

In the last year,\u00a0ITOS<\/strong><\/a> has expanded its portfolio with new Handhelds and Android-based software solutions. New solutions specially designed for the retail and delivery sector. The latest novelty from ITOS is the IC-58<\/strong><\/a>, a powerful handheld computer, with an original and professional design, equipped with a 2.0 GHz Octa core processor and Android11 operating system with GMS certification that guarantees a safer and smoother experience. It offers integrated RFID scanning with different versions of UHF and NFC, as well as 1D\/2D barcode reading. A handheld, drop-resistant, IP67 device, specially designed for harsh environments.<\/p>\n

The brand will also exhibit its latest Android mobile terminals for the point of sale,\u00a0CM35 and CM5-X<\/strong><\/a>, at Stand A02 in Hall 10. The first is an All-in-One device that integrates printer and 2D scanner, is resistant to falls, and has IP54 and ATEX certifications.\u00a0 The second is a multifunctional mobile POS that unifies inventory and sales, payment and checkout management, offering the consumer a personalized sale.<\/p>\n

This year, the five major themes on which the EuroCIS show will focus are:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The customer and their needs. Many retailers are seeking ever closer direct contact with end consumers in order to offer them personalized and individualized digital customer services, such as personalized digital offers based on individual shopper profiles, digital loyalty cards, etc.<\/li>\n
  2. Analytics. The use of artificial intelligence and machine learning is one of the most important technological challenges for many retail companies in the coming years. Especially in the area of data analysis, assortment management and pricing.<\/li>\n
  3. Payment. The Covid pandemic has definitively changed consumer payment behavior and has led to a boom in contactless payment methods. In the coming years, the touch points at which shoppers pay in retail will move away from the traditional checkout environment: Scan & Go solutions and mobile checkout solutions allow sales staff to carry out the payment process via a mobile terminal without customers having to go through the checkout counter.<\/li>\n
  4. Connected retail. The merging of online and offline retail, called omnichannel, such as Click & Collect and Click & Reserve services.<\/li>\n
  5. The Seamless Store. Various automated store concepts have been developed in which the physical shopping process is digitized to a large extent. In this context, cloud-based applications enable flexible and rapidly scalable implementation of innovative applications.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
