CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY POLICY<\/strong><\/h3>

ITOS Technology, S.L. is an independently owned company specialized in the development and distribution of hardware, firmware and software. Its strategy is oriented to provide mobile devices and software components to mobility application development and integration companies at a competitive price, without compromising the quality and scalability of the solutions. <\/p>

Since its creation in 2003, ITOS has developed a network of partners formed by the leading companies in the development of mobility applications, which integrate the devices and software components distributed by ITOS in their solutions, bringing more value to their customers.<\/p>

ITOS is committed to implement a Corporate Social Responsibility Policy as a way of understanding and developing our business activity. Through this policy, we seek to adopt a socially responsible conduct based on the following PRINCIPLES AND SUBJECTS<\/strong>. <\/p>

PRINCIPLES<\/strong><\/h4>

ACCOUNTABILITY<\/strong> for the economic, social and environmental impacts that may result from our actions, which implies assuming responsibility for possible negative impacts and the commitment to take the pertinent measures to repair them and avoid their repetition.<\/p>

TRANSPARENCY<\/strong> in the activities we carry out that affect society and the environment. In this way, we provide all the information required by interested parties, in an accessible and intelligible language. Excluding the publication of information protected by intellectual property or that which may cause non-compliance with legal obligations. <\/p>

ETHICAL BEHAVIOR<\/strong>. We are aware that, in order to have a truly positive impact on sustainable development, we must be governed by criteria of honesty, fairness and integrity, which means that we not only pursue economic profit, but also try to maximize the positive impacts on our social and environmental surroundings, as well as minimize the negative ones. <\/p>

RESPECT FOR THE INTERESTS OF STAKEHOLDERS.<\/strong> We respect and address the interests and requirements of internal and external stakeholders. We consider that, although they are not strictly part of the company, they have legitimate needs and interests that may be affected by our activities; therefore, we take these stakeholders into account when making decisions. <\/p>

RESPECT FOR THE PRINCIPLE OF LEGALITY<\/strong> or supremacy of law, which means recognizing that no individual or organization has the power to act outside the law. In the field of SR, respect for the principle of legality means that we respect and comply with applicable laws and regulations and, therefore, we take the necessary measures to be aware of and comply with current SR legislation. <\/p>

RESPECT FOR INTERNATIONAL BEHAVIORAL STANDARDS<\/strong> by avoiding behavior that is not compatible with international SR standards.<\/p>

RESPECT HUMAN RIGHTS<\/strong> recognizing their importance and universality. We consider that these rights are applicable to all individuals from all countries and cultures and we do everything in our power to respect and protect these rights. <\/p>

SOLIDARITY AND HELP – ITOS SOLIDARITY COMPANY <\/strong>For years, ITOS has been carrying out solidarity actions through donations to medical and humanitarian organizations that share our goals in these matters:<\/p>

  • Aid to victims of natural or human disasters and armed conflicts, through the organization M\u00e9decins Sans Fronti\u00e8res<\/strong>.<\/li>
  • Providing access to surgeries for people in developing countries and promoting health prevention projects through the Cardiodreams<\/strong> Foundation.<\/li>
  • Helping our elders to prepare for and live an economically independent, dignified, equitable, healthy and socially active old age, through the Fundaci\u00f3n Mutualidad Abogac\u00eda School of Thought<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>

    MATERIALS<\/strong><\/h4>

    GOVERNANCE<\/strong>. Through decision making we make possible a change towards a more socially responsible behavior. <\/p>

    HUMAN RIGHTS.<\/strong> We respect and protect human rights. We ensure that decision making and the development of our activities do not have a negative impact on human rights. We respect fundamental principles and rights at work, guaranteeing equal opportunities and non-discrimination. <\/p>

    INTERNSHIPS.<\/strong> We contribute to improving people’s quality of life through job creation, employment stability and decent work. We make a continuous effort to improve the situation of workers, including remuneration, working hours, vacations, hiring and firing practices, maternity protection and access to welfare services (water, health, food…). We promote and ensure the highest possible level of mental, physical and social well-being of workers, and prevent damage to health that may be caused by working conditions. <\/p>

    ENVIRONMENT<\/strong>. We try to prevent the generation of pollutants as much as possible, paying special attention to waste management and the use of high-risk chemical products. We contribute to guaranteeing the availability of resources in the future, through responsible use in the present, by using renewable resources. We do everything in our power to minimize the emission of greenhouse gases and promote a socially responsible use of natural resources. <\/p>

    FAIR OPERATING PRACTICES.<\/strong> ITOS has an ethical behavior in its relations with other organizations, as well as with its stakeholders; We implement anti-corruption policies to prevent this type of situations from occurring; Our activities are in line with competition laws; We promote social responsibility in the value chain; We implement processes and policies that protect the right to private and intellectual property and we do not engage in activities that violate it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t
